Please Note: Starting December 1st, 2024, Speedwash will no longer offer or maintain memberships for commercial vehicles. At Speedwash, we understand that every vehicle has different needs, and we continue to provide tailored services and flexible options to ensure all vehicles, including commercial ones, receive the care they deserve. Personal vehicle memberships will not be affected by this change.

Commercial Vehicle

We’ve decided to discontinue memberships for commercial vehicles to better align our services with personal-use customers. Commercial vehicles, such as those used for rideshare services (Uber, Lyft), taxis, and food delivery, tend to have higher usage and more wear. This change helps us maintain the high level of service for personal vehicle users while offering alternative solutions for commercial users.

A commercial vehicle includes any vehicle used primarily for business, such as taxis, Uber, Lyft, Skip the Dishes, DoorDash, security vehicles, or driving school cars. If your vehicle is primarily used for personal use, it qualifies for a personal-use membership. Contact us if you’re unsure about your vehicle’s classification.

Starting December 1st, 2024, no commercial vehicle memberships will renew. If you have an annual prepaid membership, you will be able to use the service until your membership expires, but it won’t renew. For all other commercial memberships, your plan will expire on December 1st, 2024, unless canceled sooner.

While we’re discontinuing memberships for commercial vehicles, we offer two new options:
Option 1: You will be provided a unique 20% off single washes code for your using a commercial vehicle.
Option 2: Purchase our Bulk Wash Book, starting at just $8.49 per Bronze wash for a 20-pack.

If you forget to cancel, your membership will automatically end on December 1st, 2024, as we are no longer renewing commercial memberships. You can still cancel any time before this date via our website if you prefer to end it sooner.

Yes, you can continue to use Speedwash services by paying for washes individually. With our new 20% commercial discount or Bulk Wash Book, you can still enjoy discounted rates even without a membership.

To cancel your membership, visit our website at https://www.speedwash.ca and follow the cancellation process. Be sure to cancel before December 1st, 2024, if you no longer want to continue your plan.

If you have a prepaid annual plan for a commercial vehicle, we will honor your membership until its expiration. After that, you will need to switch to individual washes using our commercial discounts or purchase a Bulk Wash Book.

If your vehicle is used commercially, it is considered a commercial vehicle, and we cannot renew your personal-use membership. You will need to switch to our pay-per-wash options. If you stop using your vehicle for commercial purposes, you can switch back to a personal membership by providing proof of non-commercial use (e.g., deactivation from a rideshare platform) and signing a declaration at one of our locations.

Yes, if your vehicle is no longer used for business purposes, you can switch back to a personal-use membership. Please provide proof of deactivation from the platform (Uber, Lyft, etc.) and sign a formal declaration at one of our locations.

You will receive a unique discount code (XXXX) to apply at the time of purchase for a single wash, which will grant you a 20% discount on your wash.

Even if you use your vehicle part-time for commercial purposes, it still qualifies as a commercial vehicle. If you have an active account with services like Uber, DoorDash, or other ride-sharing/delivery platforms, your vehicle will be considered commercial, regardless of the frequency of use.

No, your vehicle is still considered commercial if it is registered with or used for services like Uber or DoorDash. The absence of a sticker does not change its commercial status.

Services

There are different factors that determine how often you should wash your car. If road conditions are making your car dirty on a regular basis, you may need to wash more often. Generally, a wash at least every second week is a good guideline to follow. But dirt, debris, bugs, salt, calcium chloride and more can damage your car with chips, scratches, and rust. So, to protect your investment and keep your paint from dulling, it’s important to keep your car clean.

We believe in the power of gentle touch for a thorough clean. Just like handwashing and brushing teeth are essential for personal hygiene, our car wash embraces the same principle. Instead of relying on touchless methods, which often fall short even with high-pressure jets and strong chemicals, we opt for a more effective approach.

It depends. If we can’t see the paint on your car, we’re not able to wash it. That’s because after the wash, if you notice a dent or scratch, you may blame the car wash. If your car is that dirty, we recommend that you rinse it off before bringing it to us, just to be on the safe side and we cannot guarantee 100% clean.

We can’t wash dually trucks or trucks with fuel tanks, loose items, or debris in the flatbed. Our wash tunnel measures 7’4,” lifted vehicles above this clearance height will not fit through our wash. Any vehicle with a luggage rack, ladder rack, bike rack, greasy fifth wheel, or aftermarket parts that are not deemed safe cannot be washed.

No, an automatic car wash is not detrimental to alloy wheels, our wash doesn’t use certain tire brushes that can scratch them, or acids that can cause stains. Just to be on the safe side, ask in advance about your alloy wheels.

When you wash your vehicle with windshield damage, cracks, or chips it may expand due to temperature change. It’s always best to repair or replace a damaged windshield immediately.

Different cars have different types of antennas, so it depends on your vehicle. Many new vehicles don’t have an external antenna. There are older vehicles that do have an external antenna; the flexible kind can handle an automatic wash, but a hollow, telescoping antenna needs to be lowered or risk damage in the wash.

Once again, it depends. If you have an after-market product like a bug shield on your car, it is most likely fine to handle an automatic car wash. But that isn’t a guarantee. Some after-market accessories could still suffer damage, especially if they are already cracked or chipped. Other products like a trailer hitch can certainly withstand the wash but might get in the way of washing equipment and impact how clean the vehicle gets. Anything that’s loose may get damaged or fall off in a wash.

It’s simple. If you don’t hand dry your car, there is residue left behind. Even the water you leave when you air-dry your car contains minerals that don’t completely evaporate. That liquid residue becomes streaks, spots and deposits that you won’t appreciate looking at. One glance at a dark-coloured car in the sunlight will show the imperfections left behind when you air-dry your vehicles. In the winter it’s even worse, as the water will freeze in door jambs and windows. All of our customers can use our drying towels after their wash.

We accept any Credit or Debit card (Mastercard, Visa, and American Express) at all locations. We also accept Prepaid Visa Gift Cards.

Sure, you can! You can purchase and sign-up vehicles for our monthly membership program.

Yes! We recycle, reclaim, and reuse all car wash tunnel water and ensure that you receive a safe, high-quality car wash that’s easy on the environment.

Free wash Coupons / Vouchers

You can get your Free car wash by going to our website or scanning a Free wash QR code. Enter your phone number and you’ll receive the Free Platinum Wash coupon via text within 24hr.

Visit any of our locations and show the original text message with the coupon code to a service attendant.

Monthly Membership

Vehicles with active memberships are eligible to wash everyday and enjoy exclusive perks for the whole month at any of our locations.

To purchase a membership, select your preferred wash package. Fill out our application form online with your license plate number or stop by any of our locations and see an attendant in order to complete the process. It’ll take just a few minutes! A credit card is required to purchase our Monthly Membership, it will be charged monthly on your billing date until cancelled.

Although we’re sad to see you go, the process is super easy! You can discontinue your plan by visiting our website and filling “Manage Membership” form. There is no contract or obligation, and you can cancel at any time. We require minimum 1 week of notice. If you cancel, your plan will remain active until the next billing date, and you may continue to wash during this time. You can only cancel and repurchase our monthly membership to a max of 3 times. After that you might lose your chance to buy our membership plan for a whole 2 years.

Tunnels Safety and Others

If you’ve lost an item at our car wash, please visit, or call the location where the item was lost as soon as you make the realization. Depending on your unique situation, our friendly staff will instruct you from there.

Speedwash is not responsible for the following once your vehicle has entered the tunnel:

  • Antennas, including telescoping, satellite, on-star or mobile phone
  • Specific manufacturer technical service bulletins
  • Damage caused by vehicles not in neutral or with brakes depressed
  • Loose/broken parts or previous/existing damage
  • Wiper blades or mirrors
  • Vehicles over 10 years old
  • Non-factory installed parts, including windguards, bug shields, light bars, spoilers/fins, low profile wheels & tires
  • Hood emblems/ornaments
  • Interior/exterior non-factory stickers or decals
  • Damage caused by driver error
  • Magnets or hitch covers
  • Luggage racks or running boards
  • Oversized tires, rims, or hubcaps
  • Vinyl or loose spare tire covers
  • License plates, covers, or frames
  • Any valuables left in the vehicle
  • Claims of damages or missing items once the vehicle has left the property.

Please ensure you check your car before you leave. If any area of the vehicle has been missed, please highlight this to the onsite manager and it will be rectified on the spot.
